I think the music for February, as Black History Month, will be all soul/funk. So far, I think we've been seing that.

Oh...BIGGER. I thought you said something else.
Earl, WHICH IS THE BIGGER NUMBER????
Hillary Clinton 783
Barack Obama 709
Do the math. It ain't tough.
Currently the numbers are like this:
Clinton 689 popular vote delegates, 211 super delegates = 900 delegates.
Obama 696 popular vote delegates, 128 super delegates = 824 delegates.
By the will of the people, Obama is winning. In the end the super delegates will not vote against the will of the people.

I really HATE the term "Pop-off." It annoys the hell out of me. :furious:
There is some loud-mouthed, annoying, ignorant troll on some BET reality show that says "pop-off" all the time. It doesn't even make any damn sense.
I only see clips of the show when watching "The Soup" but it is still way too much for me.

My desk read:
Obama '08
McCain '08 } Both are good eitherway.
Hey Ralph How was the cellar?
MadMatt
02-06-2008, 08:20 AM
Earl - these are just primaries to choose who will run for President. McCain doesn't have to (and can't) win all of the votes right now.
When it's down to Republican vs. Democrat for the Presidency, it is a completely different story.

I saw an interesting statistic that of the democrats voting in the primary, most of the voters were willing to support the other candidate after the nomination (somewhere around 70% or more).
However, on the repulican side those voting for Huckabee or Romney said they would not vote for McCain during a general election.
Not sure if it will play out this way, but I think it makes sense and gives the democrats a better shot in November.

It would be funny if they knew what they were talking about but had weird-ass reasons for their political choices. IMO anyway.

Republicans say that, but when it comes down to the final run at the Presidency few will probably jump the fence to Obama or Clinton.
It's more likely that 'disenfranchised' Republicans won't vote at all - although that will also end up helping the Democrats.

Rumors of Huckabee taking a VP slot are to counter act this.
But if they go with Huckabee, they may be throwing away any crossover Democratic votes they are trying for. Between his political ideals and religious leanings, many people will probably see him as more of the same.
IMO, if the Republicans want a shot at winning they will need to lean more to the center for this election.

But were all of the prescriptions from the same doctor? He could have been playing his doctors off of one another, had them on separate coasts, different countries, etc.
And apparently that caller thought the same thing...

I made the Than call months ago - when Earl resigned behind the scenes, then on-air, then kept coming into work...
Sam is a little too smart-ass IMO. It would detract from Fez's role and we definitely don't need that.

Definitely seems like a lot. Maybe 8 per office, but I can't see 8 per physician.

Oddly enough, Ambien doesn't work on me. I can take enough to put a whale in a coma and still can't sleep.
And what the hell is Earl talking about? "They have to come to my apartment and setup the equipment." The damn CPAP machine is smaller than a slide projector and is completely plug-and-play. They come with a carrying case, are completely portable, and take about 10 minutes of instruction to "setup."
Idiot...

I think the interaction between Sam and Ron is great. I think Than is very talented but would add more structure to the background of the show.

I like to call it the silliest day of the year. Sillier than halloween. At least then you're dressed up for a little bit of a reason. Today people are walking around with dirt on their foreheads.
