have a question regarding this festival....i went to Woodstock 99 with an ex girlfriend, and had a blast (and a bump, and a toke, and a.....) despite that there were few working toilets and little to no accomadations.....we did our thing, along with 250,000 people, and it was AMAZING!

I want to do Bonaroo this year, but my Fiance is not very similiar to the ex gf in the "lets get ripped and who gives a fuck" mentality....she may need some babysitting and a shower.

so the question:

Should i bring the lady, or is this a trip i should be makin with the boys?

in my opinion, its a trip to take with the boys. bonnaroo, or really any festival of that magnitude, requires a certain mentality and if your chick doesnt have it chances are she isnt suddenly going to acquire it over the festival weekend. ive gone with a few chicks over the years and one is actually going back this year, so girls do dig it. but your chick just doesnt seem like shed have a good time down on the farm. id leave her home if shes cool with that.

HHH, I saw Yonder in Raleigh on the same tour recently. Amazing musicians, great crowd.

I completely concur with your advice about festivals and taking chicks...as you know sanitation and that clean, fresh scent that some chicks require at all times can be at a minimum and a go with the flow attitude is essential for a drunken, muddy good time to be had.

I never minded a chick with a little dirt under her fingernails...

Whereas Bonnaroo keeps getting worse and worse every year, LANGERADO keeps getting better and better and has grown to be the best form of entertainment during Spring Break. Check out the Line-up:

I went the first year and it was small, cool and a lot of fun.
Now, its being held in Big Cypress and has HUGE internationally known acts.

Another good one is shaping up in Michigan, the Rothbury over the 4th of July weekend

I always have fun at the All Good festival in Morgantown, WV

How lame is thats the list of acts I've seen from that huge one. I'm really out of the live music scene.

Couldn't be more right there my friend.

Throw in some Wilco, Decemberisits, maybe some Phish and this is a near perfect lineup for me.
