Matrix: Reloaded News

After the deaths of R&B singer Aaliyah and the actress who played The Oracle in the first movie, their roles have been recast, according to Martix: Reloaded star Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Both roles are said to be very impotrant ones in the story lines of parts 2 and 3.

I didn't retrieve this info all by myself, so I'm giving <a href="http://corona.bc.ca/films/">credit</a> where credit's due.

Well, judging from the fact that you took your time out to be the first one to reply to this post, I'd say you have SOME interest in this film. And I have no doubt that you will be watching the matrix sequel in the theaters, by bootleg or on video/dvd.

I dunno, I thought the Matrix was kind of cool. And I'm sure that the sequel will have great special effects just like the original. However, this really isn't newsworthy information, sorry vegeta.

I dug the Matrix. Loved the special effects. Found the story (or lack of it) to be great geeky fun. I went in to the theater to watch the original with literally no knowledge of the film - I hadn't even seen a commercial for it - and was blown away.

But I cringe now whenever I watch it, because as much as I found "bullet time" to be cool and fresh at the time, it kind of hurts that EVERY FUCKING MOVIE EVER MADE AFTER THE MATRIX USES IT. AND every TV show. Or so it seems.

Enough! I don't want to see your fucking slo-mo bullets anymore! It's all a rip off of Jon Woo anyway.

I don't think there are many people on this board who new that Aaliyah had even been cast in The Matrix, or that Jada Smith has been cast either.

And as for Ikeaboy, It's not that I hate him, it's just that I hate my posts to be turned into a joke fest when i really have something that's slightly important to report.

Samantha Mumba has been added to the cast of the Matrix. She is taking over Aaliyah's role as Zee.

But why another singer with little acting experience? Does the role call for a person with singing talent or is it just a coincidence?
