Which of these do you recommend? Anyone have bad experiences with one or the other?
Last year I ordered flowers from 1800 Flowers for my mom and my wife,
and my moms were fine and lasted 2 weeks, while my wifes lasted three days and all the flowers fell off.
I hear all these ads for Pro-Flowers, but I have seen some negative things on youtube.
Since Valentines is almost here, I am wondering which one to use.

i had an order or two with proflowers where the vase broke in transit ... they were really cool about replacing the order (one order took three replacements)
and i've never had any difficulty with 800 flowers

You have to assemble the flowers from Proflowers, which kind of sucks.
800flowers uses local florists.

I used whichever one advertised on Ron and Fez while they were on FM again last year. Had no trouble with them, got their fast and nothing was wrong.
Flower all die so I'm not going to fault them on that. I think the ones I sent lasted a reasonable amount of time anyway.

I used bother services last year. Pro flowers sent shitty flowers and 1-800 sent nice ones.

Pat "fucking" Duffy's mother has a flower shop. I thought it was in the area. I'm sure a linger longerer would know more details.

I use 1800 flowers. I haven't gotten any complaints. The recipents told me the flowers lasted for a couple of weeks.

I used ProFlowers, never had a problem, but make sure you use the discount code "CRAIG".

ProFlowers has always been fine by me, but I happen to like anything that gives me an excuse to leave my desk.
You do have to finish the prep work (remove the outer leaves on the rosebuds, etc.), but the flowers I've gotten from them have lasted pretty long. I think they would have made it through the weekend if I'd bothered to take the ones I got on a Thursday home with me on Friday...
I've also used 1800flowers.com to send Mothers' Day flowers to family members...my grandmother raved about them; so did my dad.
Of course, if your local florist delivers, you can't beat that!

I use 1-800 flowers all the time. The couple of times they fucked up they gave me total credit plus a discount on my next order. And both times it really wasn't their fault it was the local florist they used. No beefs with them at all. Great customer service.

I ordered my girl roses from Proflowers last year. Half the dozen were dead and the candy that came with it looked like it was taken from an old basement. It was all banged up and the chocolate had that white stuff all over it. They resent the flowers and gave me a free order, but I'd never use them again.
