Sears Customer Service sucks. My chick and I needed a new Fridge last year and I decided to surprise her with a Wine Fidge also (Its something she mentioned she wanted a couple times). They screwed up delivery twice. Took 3 dates to finally get them to deliver and then they delivered late.
Both Fridges Died in 3 weeks. When I called to set up a visit to get a repair, cause my buddy said it was a simple repair for both, They no called no showed and said I wasnt home, Then said they couldnt find my building.
Finally I just rented a Van and returned both to my local sears and got my money back.
As my southern brothers would say...Fuck a bunch of Sears!

sears shafted me in dec with the delivery of my new washer.
i told them i needed a stackable, as this has to attach to my dryer.
they sell it to me, and set up delivery and install and haul-away. the delivery guys come, and say, whoa, we cant install this. we are not allowed to hook up new to old (some liability bullshit). they promptly leave my new washer smack in the middle of my living room and leave.
so i call sears. utterly fucking useless. so i call again. same shit.
half hour later, i call again. finally somebody with a brain. they said they dont know why the salesman authorized this if they knew it was new appliance to old (the salesman was probably lucky he knew where he was).
so i have pops help me install new washer, and we haul the old one outside. we lay it flat for inconvience and sears came to pick it up the next morning.
after it was all done and hauled away, i called sears again and told them to suck a thick dick and hoped their company closes their doors. that was the 2nd time they did me dirty with deliveries.

we had trouble when we got a new washing machine. when they took the old one they took the cord to plug it in with the machine. we didnt know that the cord is like a printer cable, you dont get a new one with a new appliance. so you have to keep the old one or go out and buy a new one.

I also have a board i visit for my car stuff; this was posted there
Call National Customer Relations and complain. I used to work at sears, Its amazing how much a store bends when NCR got involved.
Check the appliances BEFORE they slide them into place, the fridge back. Many many times stoves and fridges come out dented on the sides near the back from the pallet clamps picking them up. The delievery drivers would just hide that and slide it into place, and its very rarely seen as it is between counters. But if oyu do find a dent, bingo $$$ off for you

My dad had problems with sears even when both my brother and sister worked there. Things like not showing up for delivery and selling shitty merchandise. He bought a lawn tractor with a piece that broke a few months later. According to the repair guy, it was a defect Sears knew about but sold it anyway
