I had someone in my history research course demand that the professor allow her to use the bible as a primary source for her project. A 2 minute argument turned to a 20 minute argument when I said "sorry but at best it's a secondary source without a primary source" she thought I meant god didnt exist, so shes not too dumb at least.

Her main argument was that there are things in the bible that exist or existed, like ruins, etc. I said yea but if I write that gnomes lived in the statue of liberty and 500 years from now someone reads it, is it true cause the statue of liberty is there?

Then she went into the regular arsenal of crazy religious defenses.

How can anyone beleive we evolved from monkeys heres a few questions for people who beleive that

1.If we did evolve from monkeys then how come babies arent born monkeys

2.Even Darwin said his theories were wrong before he died so why do you still believe them

3.do you really not believe the bible it says we were created in seven days not millions of years
