They put them up for free to the viewer, but they rake in money from advertising right? Not busting balls, genuinely asking. I know it's nowhere near the ammount that they make in commercials on TV, but I think the writers need to be involved in that somewhere. Who knows where this is going.

that's a good point about the ads being there prior to the shows going on there. But, won't traffic go WAY up with shows on there, thus making Advertising go up as well? just playing Devils Advocate. I think I would want at the very least a tiny piece of it if I were the writers ... with the thinking that if it were to ever blow up in to a huge thing, we've at least got our foot in the door for future negotiations.
