People are lining up to buy umm, sneakers.
I thought times were tough, and that disposable income was tight in the country.
Yet, some can plunk down $230 for a pair of sneakers.
Hmm.

The people who are lining up for those shoes aren't exactly worried about losing their jobs.
They are more worried about you losing your job and not paying taxes.
The only solution is for you to work harder and longer hours to pay more taxes to better support them.

This is the 23rd edition of shoes names for Michael Jordan, who wore the Number 23 jersey. Only 23 pairs will be sold at 23 stores nationwide, with Atlanta and Miami being the only cities in the Southeast.
Just a little over 500 pairs will be sold nationwide...anyone want to wager on how many beatings (or worse) will be caused by the extremely limited run of these shoes? That's assuming they don't all go to the middle-aged collector's & some of them actually get worn on the streets. Let's set the over/under at 23. I'll take the over.
Few people are more obsessed with their favorite number(s) than I am, but this is just a bad idea.

Good point, Crips. I wonder who will have the balls to even wear these out on the street?

I like how the seller's feedback rating is 94.1 and HE is worried about dealing with new eBayers.
I would bid on them but "WHITE/TITANIUM UNIVERSITY BLUE" doesn't match my eyes. :smoke:

ESPN produces and aired a series of this crap. When I saw this thread I immediately thought of Fat Joe on cribs licking the bottoms of his sneakers to show that they were all new. Not me...the OTHER fat Joe.
