message boards

I started to read the Unity thread and I was gonna go there and post but I want to take a bath and have a nap and I'll read it and post there later....but I already had something I wanted to say before that so let me get it off my chest....
There are lots and lots and lots and lots of Ron Fez fans who are not members of any boards and they are important too.......
I've been the show for many years and never even knew people were actually listening to me........then in the last two years I found message boards and it has been a mixed blessing.....I try and go with the flow and find the positive things but there are many negative things too....and like Eli Snow said,"people act differently on the board than they would in person".
Besides, lots of the drama on and between different boards have absolutely nothing to do with Ron and Fez.....and being somewhat clueless, I'm just now hearing some of the "popular" people have been fighting and have been snippy at previous parties......well these things happen....but I'm sure a very large majority of people who listen to the show might just want to have another big party where everyone can get along.....and then each message board can have it's own party that has nothing to do with the show....

i think its funny the ego some people seem to get based on a message board, and how they'll talk down to people depending on their "joined date".

and why does any thread that goes beyond a page seem to revert to people arguing with each other about something that has nothing to do with the thread.......

Paulo, I'd love to support you and the movie that so many on this board had a hand in making. The Gap Premier Party would be awesome to attend. Unfortunately some have chosen to latch on and bring stuff to the air that didn't need airing. It sucks you're part of it, and anyone else is.

I used to take baths Mr. O, but then I discovered a disturbing trend.... I peed in the tub during every sitting.

Which wasn't initially a problem, but then I started making a water fountain by spitting the water out of my mouth.

My wife has banned me from any future baths.

this is only messageboard ive ever posted on. i can't say i quite understand the culture, but ron & fez is my favorite and only radio show ive ever followed. i only enjoy about 5% of the threads but the ones i do read are funny and sometimes informative.

After 8 years, none of this is new, its always been like this and always will be. The cycle goes: Every 6 months another messageboard is formed to talk about the people on the former board which was formed 6 months earlier to talk about people on a different board.... All eventually populated by the same people.
