not really. It all seems pretty legit on the PS3. the only thing I hate are lucky grenaders, but thats just chance

I have no proof but a couple of nights ago in a regular deathmatch some guy took out me and 2 teammates each with one shot to the torso. Usually you can take more damage than that.

Do you know what gun he was using, also he could have been using the maximum damage perk and deep impact for bullet penetration

Also Snoogans you would hate playing against me, i have the 3 grenade perk and just chuck em all at the red dots whenever i spawn (however that is more because people do the same to me so i am just following suit) it usually happens more on Wet Works then all other levels because that level is so linear and narrow

In Warhawk there used to be a glitch where you could get into a vehicle and be completely invisible. People usually did that with a tank, and racked up insane stats.

I subscribe to the "work from home" concept occasionally. I usually end up on PS3 by about 2:30 pm.

For some reason, whenever I respond to invites on COD, I can't connect. Am I missing something?

You could try setting up a DMZ on your router for your PS3.

If you don't know what that means don't even try it. It can open up huge security holes on your computer if you don't know what you are doing.

It might have been me. I swear everytime I tried to invite you the lobby would fill up, or I kept getting tossed into games that were already going. I played with URoH the other night and learned to send the invite before trying to find a game.

If it's just an invite issue I don't see why you'd need to go screwing around your router. You are able to play online, right?

It involves opening up all ports and making the PS3 an open server. If you don't know how to correctly set that up you can accidentally assign the DMZ to an IP address your computer uses. That's BAD. Its dangerous doing that with your PS3 but there isn't much if any personal info on your PS3.

I set one up and online play works incredibly smoothly.

I doubt it. This seems like it has Halo staying power, and seeing as PS3 doesn't have Halo it should stay even stronger on PS3. Besides the Warhawk and Resistance communities didn't die (or even noticeably shrink) out when COD4 was released.

its good for me. Its not much different from the older ones except for graphics. Its not nearly as bad as they said in reviews but it still has some of the shit and glitches that piss you off, like the old ones did

I usually pick Ground War cause it lets in the most people, so there is more action, and it rotates 2 different games, one being deathmatch which is the best.

this is the first type of this game i ever played so all i played the main game for was a quick learning of the controls. For the fact I never played anything like this, I dont really think I'm that bad.

And in domination, i just love the ideas you come up with to grab the flags and then try to keep em. It just adds some nice team work angles

But playing COD4 around 11am (EST) is way easier. You're just beating up a bunch of children. None of that 4 helicopters in a row shit.

And I'm definitely digging the strategy games. I do like playing the Team Deathmatches, but not so much the ones with 18 people. I like a little searching and hiding, but with the huge teams, its usually just run in and kill as many people as possible.

Nah, the same content on the store now as before it went down. Will have to wait until Thursday.

It is a much slicker and faster interface, makes much more sense and is easier to find stuff. But its still buggy, most of the items have no icons and instead have broken image link icons.

I got it when I first flipped it on and tried MLB08, but I never got a update when I rebooted.

You level up in any online game. And you don't really start clans, you can enter in any clan tag you like.

It also pops up in domination. I keep a class reserved just for shipment. As soon as I spawn I chuck all of my grenades, then hold down the trigger as I cruise around with my m60.

Just don't die then. The rounds never last more than a couple of minutes, so as long as you don't die in the opening grenade barrage, you won't be waiting long. Trying not to get killed is pretty fun. We should give it a shot for a few rounds one night.

I had the most fun I've had with COD4 the other night playing Search and Destroy. I swear we played that "Leave Britney alone" guy. His name was BritneyC. He sounded just like that douche and was just as annoying as you would imagine he'd be in person. We probably lost 5 games in a row, because we decided killing him was the real victory.

None of us care. It's just a fun game. Headquarters is where you'll level up the fastest and you can get better weapons and perks.

It just makes it more enjoyable to talk to people. Although, it does come in handy for Search and Destroy. You can get a cheap headset for under $20. It's got a wire, but you don't have to worry about battery life or it not connecting.

They are the same. They weren't released because the PS Store was being redone and it was down for a bit.

Did. They have fixed that flaw from the initial groups of 360's that had the RROD, then again people dont play the PS3 for the extensive periods of times that was causing the RROD to happen

Except for the two weeks after Chirstmas. But really, who plays video games after Christmas? They couldn't have POSSIBLY seen that coming. And since they don't even host dedicated servers for their games, the cost of upgrading would have been prohibitive anyway, especially for a company as cash strapped as Microsoft.

At least they gave you a shitty game that no one cares about as a way of saying "Yeah, we rape you up the ass, and we don't give two rats shits about it."

No it wasn't. For two weeks following Christmas the whole thing was pretty much non-functional. I know some people who had trouble even using some of their downloaded games because they couldn't connect to XBox live at all.

When they can they do. Some people get their same old Xbox back repaired and some get a new one. But even if they are being just repaired, those part being used are parts that can't be put into new 360s.

Just beat GTA4, I'll be back too. All those guys with 2M kills are probably accounts where a bunch of guys are all on the same account at different times. i.e. the frathouse where somebody is always playing.
