Has anyone else had a problem with their myfi's
Sometimes when i scroll through my saved music and shows, with the scroll bar, the whole unit will freeze and i will lose all saved material.
Any ideas or is my unit about to die?

I think you options are refresh the unit and see if that helps or it might just be getting old. Time for an Inno!
I've had a MyFi for almost 3 years now and have had a variety of problems. Freezing up, losing recorded programs, lables not syncing with programing, recordings not going as scheduled, etc
Yeah they are annoying, but I have found that when there is a problem, I just power it down (if i can and it isn't locked up) , remove the battery, wait 30 seconds, reinsert the battery, wait until you hear a faint beep, and then power it back on.
It won't restore lost recordings, but it is sort of a soft reset and doesn't erase the recorded programing.
I suppose one of these days I will upgrade to something newer, but I would have to replace the device, a car kit and 2 home kits which will make it more expensive than I care for right now.

I've had the MyFi since a month after they first came out.
The only problem I ever had was that it records even if you have the session set to off.
All I did was set the start and stop time to be the same and that fixed it.
Other than that I've never had a problem.

Oh yeah, mine did that once too. I solved it by never turing the darned thing off unless I have set it and want it to record.

Press the reset button. It's on the back, take off the battery cover and you'll see it.

People with MyFi problems.

I have never had a problem that wasn't solved by just temporarily removing the battery. The reset button deletes anything you have recorded.

i know how to reset the myfi. that won't solve the issue that the unit freezes from time to time. sure i can reset it, but it'll still freeze in the future. so i fail to see how that's a useful solution.
If it is still under warranty, you can return it and have them fix it. If not you can return it and pay for them to fix it. If that doesn't help you can spend money to replace it with a new or refurbished MyFi.
Alternately you can apply the suggestions here and live with the issues.
Sorry that the advice you got here wasn't useful.
