I have a problem with my computer that in the past few days. All of a sudden, it will act as if the left arrow key is being held down. I can't type in urls, search engines, etc. Has anyone heard of a virus that does this, or do you think there's something wrong with my keyboard?

The easiest thing to do is borrow a keyboard from someone. Plug in their keyboard and if the problem stops buy yourself a new keyboard. I've never heard of a virus doing that, so hopefully you'll luck out. Good Luck.

It's actually a laptop, so the keyboard thing won't work. The weird thing is that it goes away when I run Spy Sweeper, but the only thing that shows up on the removed items are cookies... very weird. Some more input from some geeks out there would be much appreciated.

It just sounds like a stuck button. It may seem fine on the outside but when you push it down something might be getting stuck to the contact underneath it. Try getting a can of compressed air and blowing it under the keys. Maybe a piece of debris is under there.
