Anyone migrate their Gamertag to 360 LIVE??

Hey all,

I've had an original Xbox with Live for years now. I recently bought a 360 and tried to migrate my gamertag to it. However when it asked me to enter my email address and password it said another gamertag was associated with that email. The gamertag its talking about is the one i use of Xbox.com Forums, not the one my Live account is on.

I cant figure out how the hell to get my Live account migrated. Aaargh.

Any suggestions?? (And no, ive never used a different email address)

its odd that your account is associated with the .com one.

try using the .com user name and see if that creats it, but i assume you dont want to use that gamertag?

call xbox live and they'll help you out. cause if you dont want that gamertag but creat your new account it will cost you 800credits to change your username once logged into the marketplace of 360. 800credits is like 10 bucks, so call to save some cash.
