in the early stages of a relationship there is a battle between the two parties to establish dominance

phone tag/myspace tag/not returning not serious messages
kinna like a staring contest

now there is the play it cool ideology where the two sides will posture and posture and neither side breaks until something or someone breaks the stalemate
and then the person who breaks the stalemate is not the pants wearer in the relationship

my ideology/contention is that as long as you "get some" then youve won.
even if its the other person has won the upper hand in the stalemate
