Its been a WACK season....losses to American and Ohio mixed with beating UNC...which had me running around the house like a crazy man

Team's still young...i think they'll all be back next year cause (a) none of them would probably be high draft picks, except for maybe Vasquez, but i think he'd be a second rounder at best and (b) Gary doesn't recruit kids who will only stay 1-2 years, which a lot of people have knocked him for since local guys like Melo and Rudy Gay and Kevin Durant (went to HS with Vasquez) have gone out of state

Just got back from the UT/Stanford & Memphis/Michigan St. games. My first time to get to see Sweet 16 games in person. That was fun. Also, I got to see Magic Johnson.

You're right that it is easier to look back and criticize, but the play was awful from the word go. I guess he figured Curry got them there, he might as well finish it. But they could have forced OT or had someone else bring the ball up, like you said.

UNC had the ball three straight possessions down by 10 with 14-12min left, the game could have been changed there. Then when they got it down by 5-6 with around 8 left, why force the three???
You are absolutely right UNC is the better team, but Kansas outplayed them in the first 10 minutes of the game and that was the difference. If they play 7 times, UNC wins 6.
