O.K. this may be a sign that I'm getting old, I just recently hit the big 3-0. But I just bought the new Mick Jagger album and thought it just totally rocked. After all these years the Mick still writes great songs. So I was wondering what some of you younger(and older) pups on the message board were listening to currently?

Just like Anthony said, I also have Disturbed - Sickness in my cd player in the car. Everytime I drive I blast it and break speed records.

Eh, don't feel bad, I hit 30 in September. But quite honestly, most music out doesn't do much for me. I tend to listen to alot of local Jersey bands. Most of which can be found on mp3.com. I'll give you a partial list in case anyone out there might be interested.
Plug Spark Sanjay
Dewey Defeated
Prosolar Mechanics
Aviso Hara
The Milwaukees
The Swimmies
bobfields
The Ex-Models
Digger Phelps (shameless plug for my own band)
The Can Utility (Richmond Va. actually)

Hey sketchy, thanks!
If you do make it to the Court Tavern, come up and let me know. I'll be the guitar player that doesn't sing.
Oh, and the new Ben Folds album is really really good.

these are my top 5 albums of 2001.
1. Is This It- the strokes
i know there has been a huge buzz all over these guys, but i saw them in Hartford "last nite". it was their last show of the tour and it was fantastic.
2. Closer- Better Than Ezra
3. Pete Yorn- musicforthemorningafter
4. Radiohead- Amnesiac
5. Weezer- Weezer
there are rumors of a pearl jam rarities album coming out soon. that would blow all of these albums out of the water.

Weathered by Creed is pretty decent. I also like Kid Rock's Cocky. More bluesy signing and less rapping makes it very good.

The Eminem Show is really, really good. I have to say I was disappointed with DMB 'Busted Stuff'.
