Extremely bad fake!!! They really need to work harder on their writing. They show video from people on the rig, then go on to say that they don't know if there are any survivors.

Yeah, the last bit of "cell phone footage" shows their getaway boat being struck by flying debris. I guess the phone was one of those waterproof floating phones with a rescue beacon.

I have no idea if it is, but besides the horrible quality, it seems like it would be.

The references to polluting and effecting the ecosystem lead me to believe that it's a setup for Cloverfield.

But if this creature knocks the head off of the Statue Of Liberty why is it being so secretive about destroying this rig ?
