Hey guys - I need some help figuring out how to use an internet proxy for IE7. I have never tried to use such things before and am not sure how to go about it.
I want to try 2 things:
Find a site that can serve as a "spoof" so I can surf to 'questionable' sites while at work (read below).
Find out how to use a proxy server so I can look like I am connecting to a site from another country.
I do not have nefarious intent: I need info on #1 so I can fill in the bosses at work; I don't know where to find spoofing sites but thought some of you guys might. I just need to know where to find them and how they work - we aren't going to block them; i just want to look good/knowledgeable.
For #2, I want to log onto the BBC website and be able to view video; since I am connecting from the US it won't let me see any 'exclusive content' that is posted on their site. I have to be connected via a UK server/proxy to be able to view video (episodes of Doctor Who, Torchwood, etc.) or other exclusive content.
Any help you guys can provide would be great. Thanks Buddays!
