I want to get a new vid card for my computer. I know dual vid cards is the way to go but I found this video card
http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Graphics_Cards/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A1260883&mfgpid=167494&chassisid=8236
I know its not great but its a good price (BB, tiger and newegg have the same price). So I am just curious if its good or what not, it seems to have good reviews from what I have read.
Any recommendations?

Seems ok, and you can add a second one of those if you want.
I chose Nvidia over ATI and went with a GeForce 8800 GTS, personally. It was a little more expensive than that one.

I was looking at the 8800 as well, but some reviews I was reading said it was better then the 8800 which is hard to believe for the price, or maybe they meant it was better for the price then the 8800.
I normally like nvidia as well but I couldn't find one as good for a similar price so I wasn't sure.

Try the 8800 GT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133205) from our friends at Nvidia. It's basically an upgrade from the GTS but without breaking your bank account the way a GTX does. Got glowing reviews from the articles I've read and seems to be doing well for itself with Newegg's user base. They're hard to find though as they keep getting sold out.
As with every video card, the price depends massively on the dealers you buy from as they like to add all sorts of extra custom shit onto the cards which can jack up the price beyond its worth.

Ah, what is your price range? Like how much bang do you want for your buck? If you find a good card going for cheaper let me know because my 7800 GTX is starting to show its age and the prices are scaring me away too.

This seems to be better and cheaper (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102703) but I don't know if you're wanting something better than what that has to offer. The overall reviews don't seem too rough unlike the second review for the thing you listed. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814129089) Kid might have a crappy computer and have no idea what he's doing though- obviously user reviews are a bit of a crap shoot for trying to get an accurate impression on a product's quality.
Hope this helps sorta.

wow thats weird its the same exact model I wonder why it is so much cheaper
that second review has to be complete BS cause the kid refers to an AGP card which that is not, its a PCI-E card.
