The article does next to nothing to back up the idea that law enforcement is staying away from this due to "PC" and glosses over the most obvious cause...the cost of more than a grand per test. Underfunded police forces "staying away" from expensive things that could clearly help them is the result of tiny budgets, plain and simple.

If most departments could afford to use these tests, they would.
