What is the difference between Giants and Jets fans? You share a city and a stadium but the fan bases seem vastly different, is there a difference?

Giant Fans are usually Yankee Knicks and Rangers fans, they are set with tradition and will purchase season tickets year after year, they know the game as much as any fan or even the players. They have a low tolerance for failure, but deal with it when it happens. The fans opinions are respected by the Maras and the Tisch's (owners)
Jet Fans: since 1970 , they are pessimistic and always set for failure. used to bad draft picks, free agent signings and coaching choices. They are loud either in winning or losing, very good at tailgating and have a catchy J E T S Jets Jets Jets chant. They are as jealous as Met fans are to Yankee Fans

KHB are you a giants or Jets fan? Just curious to see if you are a Giants fan and a Jets fan has a different point of view

Giant fans are wanna be athletes, obnoxious Guinea's, or closed minded blow hards.
Jet fans are people that can not stand any of the above

Going to a Giants game vs a Jets game is night and day. A Giants game is like going to see the Stones and a Jet game is going to see Motley Crue.
I'd say the majority of Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, North and Central Jersey are Giant fans. Jets own Queens and Long Island. I am not really sure about Staten Island.

Knicks fans have a low tolerance of failure? Last time I checked, that miserable failure of a franchise still sells out every game.
So much for the astute savvy Knicks fan.

A select few Giant fans have class, we have some jerkoffs in the club. Jet fans are bored, classless drunks.

In New York a low tolerance for failure is not always synonymous with ticket sales. The Giants were bad for 20 years and every seat in that place was paid for.The fans bitched, moaned, booed, etc. but truth be told they could have been bad for 20 more years and the seats would be full.

Difference between Mets and Yankees fans
Mets fans tend to come from Queens and Long Island.
Yankees fans come from the Bronx, Manhattan, and everywhere else in the world where people have the common sense to realize when they are in the presence of greatness.
