This is the most recent Spiderman storyline that is a relaunch of the character. Aunt May has been shot and Peter is trying at all costs to save her life. For those who have read it I have a question. If you haven't finished it yet don't read this spoiler.
What do you think Mary Jane said to Mephisto? Did she promise him her soul? It was whispered so Peter and the reader couldn't tell.

I thought this series blew. A quick fix to make his identity secret again.

Haven't read it yet, but I've seen hints enough to figure out what happens...
But for about 5 years now, Joe Quesada has been saying how bad it is that Pete and MJ were married, so I figure it's the storyline where they fix that and the public identity. Besides, to me, Aunt May died in ASM 400.

Hello,
Don't read spiderman, but I think from what I read how it ends...it sucks. Just a way to just redo the characters. Because the writers can't think of anything. So the last 4 years of story lines were for nothing, just to make sales. I really think it is a cop-out of a idea.
Just think it sort of sucks. I would not read anymore spidy..again I don't.
SEE YAYAYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not reading this yet since I only get trades, but it sucks that they're doing such a poor job "fiing" things, a la the "born again" crap a year or so ago and Peter David's horribe attempt at a "year one"-type story.
All in all, Peter's marriage to Mary Jan was one of the worst creative decisions for the character, and it's bogged the series down ever since.
This page does a great breakdown as to why the storyline was so nonsensical and doomed from the start. (http://www.comics101.com/comics101//?mode=project&action=view&project=Comics%20101&chapter=146)

I checked out of the Spiderman titles way back at the start of the clone saga and the OMD story seems to be generating just as much contreversy or more here's a statment/interview from J. Michael Straczynski
