Wow! I'd have to say the greatest rivalries were:

Flair/Sting - these guys got me hooked into NWA/WCW back then, Flair was the greatest villain for all the work he put into it

Flair/Steamboat - the start of this as the Dragon came hot out of the WWF when Flair was feeling invincible was great..and on regular tv (hey, 10 years ago that was a big deal!)

Everyone/Iron Sheik..we couldn't wait to see this guy go down, and the Hulkster did it

Kudos to all those who mentioned Flair / Sting and Flair / Steamboat.

Hogan and Andre was great too...

And I think Sting and Vader should get an honorable mention...

But Benoit and Sullivan gets extra points because most of it was REAL animosity and hatred between the two.

Steamboat/Savage, hands down. The angle to start the feud was great (christ, I still remember Ricky's PURPLE face after the ringbell hit) and the blowoff at Wrestlemania II or III ranks as one of the best WM matches ever.
