Kite Runner movie.

I realise the book "Kite Runner" is like the #1 book on all lists for the past 3 years, but i never was inclined to read it.

I just saw the movie this weekend and the movie was really good. Well written, acted, thought provoking and the 2 hours flew by.

Now i feel stupid not having read the book..i wont read it now, cause i know the 'secrets' of the story.

Read the book first if you havent seen the movie, then see the movie!

wont make same mistake twice - gonna read his second book, "Thousand Spendid Suns"

who the hell doesn't know the book is always better than the movie?

and i don't know what a "spendid sun" is
but it sounds wonderful.

I know books are always better than movies. But - take 'I Am Legend' for example, after seeing this movie it didnt bother me a bit that i never read the book. But this movie was good enough to make me sorry i saw the movie and didnt force myself to read the book.

the book was great, havent seen the movie yet - and i am almost done with "A Thousand Splendid Suns." did anyone read it?

I saw it and liked it. However, I'm not tempted to read the book. The only movie that I went ahead and read the book for this year is Diving Bell and the Butterfly.
