FYI if ya didnt know or the credits whiz by, the guy who wrote it, radio God Jean Shepherd appears real quick in the movie; he's the guy who tells Ralph that the end of the line to see Santa is way back there.

Watched it after Christmas dinner. Seen it a hundred times with family, but for some reason this year, the "Mommy's little piggy!" scene with Ralph's brother going face first into the plate got the biggest laugh in the room. Love this movie.

My favorite curse Ralph's Dad says: "YOUUUUU MONDAY NOOODLE!!"

I fucking LOVE this movie. I like that it's on 24 hours, cause I usually can't sit and watch the whole thing. But I can randomly click on the station all day, and eventually see the whole thing.

Can anyone tell me why FX is doing the same thing with the animated movie "Robots"?

after watching this again this year, I have come to the realization that ralphie is one of the worse friends you could ever have.

He deserts his friend when he is stuck to the pole, and doesn't get help.
He deserts the friend when Scut wants to beat up ralphie and he runs away and leaves his friend to get his arm twisted.
And he gives up his friend when asked where he heard the swear word.

Horrible horrible friend.
