Soap (Self-Cleaning?)

I remember hearing this in
another radio show so I
would like to ask what you
think, HordeKing, is soap
self cleaning or am I
missing the boat on this?

I know it's makeup consists
of lard so what is the deal
with SOAP?!?

I have to believe it is self-cleaning and here's my reason why.....I am in college right now and the showers here are disgusting....Whenever I drop my bar of soap on the floor, I pick it up, wash it off, pray it really is self-cleansing and continue my shower.

The only soap that I believe is "self cleaning" is anti-bacterial soap. But I could be wrong!

The simple answer - Soap doesn't transmit germs.

Note that it doesn't kill germs either. To do that you'd have to use water that would burn. Soap merely allows the water to penetrate to the actual surface of the skin, and lift off the layer of grime.
