i have a week off in february and i really want to go snowboarding some place in the northeast. ive been to mount snow in vermont and sunday river in maine, which is my favorite place ive been. id like to try out some new places though.
what are some places you would suggest? ive heard okemo (sp?) is great.

yea. If you are into having some park type fun on the hill, you should check out stratton in VT. It's intrawest, so they usually set it up nice, trick it out a bit, and have some chill places in the lodge to hang.

We used to make an anuual trek to Killington. We're average skiers at best, but there was plenty of mountain to get in to.

my friends rent a cabin in the Pocconos for a weekend, they enjoy it I go for the drinking, i am not adept at you know stopping, it took Randy trying and breaking his ribs to realize that skiers and snowboarders we are not

Camelback in the Poconos had a pretty cool Snow Tube hill where the (ahem) husky gentlemen would spend their day.

I really liked Mt. Snow and Killington. In NY, Windham and Elk are two of my faves. Sadly, I havn't been skiing in about 7 years. I used to go about 20 times a years since I was a kid. My last set of skis were Salomon's, and they were 203's. I'm pretty sure I would be the point and laugh guy if I show up with those bad boys.
I plan on going this year though. I can't wait to try the new shorter shaped skis. I'm hoping the transition will not be too tough.
