The game is a lot of fun. I will warn you that some people become addcited to it, so stay balanced. It's so fucking easy to get drawn in and suddenly you're scheduling 5 hour instance runs every Tuesday and Thursday to try to get your Teir 5 armor set.

But used as a "game" it can be a great distraction.

There are real people interacting with other real people and the environment so it adds an interesting dimension that static video games can't. I say see how you feel at the end of the trial.

You'd be shocked how quickly you figure it all out. Sometimes for the worse. It's very simple really, they make the game so that 12 year olds can sign on and play.

Everyone who plays gets killed. Alot. It's not a big deal though. Mo is right. It really is easy to pick up and learn. There are some people from Wackbag that are starting form a guild on the Area 52 server. Everyone is a low level so if you want to get in and have some experienced people to level with, now is a good time.

I played the game for a good 3 months but I've been on sabbatical from it for a couple months now. Takes up too much time, addictive personality, lots of work to do, plus the computer has been crashing for months and I got sick of it. I also don't like the idea of doing 6 hour instance runs plus all my real life friends either don't play it or play on all different servers.

Yeah, I finally got it all up and running. I threw 512 mgs of extra ram I had laying around in my desktop and it runs decently; pretty fun. Of course I want to play it for hours now, but I have to go to my in-laws for Christmas.

Does anyone know how much it is to upgrade the free trial to a working version? I would hope it would be cheaper than buying the product at a store since I already dl'ed the whole damn thing.

Dying really sucks, they only way to avoid having to run back to your corpse is to resurrect at the spirit, but that cripples your character for the next 10 minutes. Or, if you're playing in a group, there are a few classes that can bring you back. I would just be more careful, and don't hesitate to run if you have to.

I think they made dying such a pain so that you find ways to avoid it, fast.

Group up for stuff if you're having problems. Put out a request for help in General that says something like "Is anyone else in this area looking to kill BLANK?" and hope there is someone who is.

Also, try to take on one guy at a time early on, two tops. You're a warrior so you have a good deal of health but not as much damage per second as other classes. You're going to wear opponents down slowly but will survive 4 and 5 on 1 fights later on.

ok not to sound like a total noob, but what are honor points? I was in a warsong gulch raid I got 57 kills and 44 honor points. but when I look at my profile it says I got nothing.

Not sure why you got no honor, that's the point of battlegrounds.

But your honor can be spent for amazing gear at higher levels.

There is also a daily PVP Battleground quest near and at 70 for extra honor and gold.

Oh yea, they sit in a pending column on the PVP tab of your character interface until the next day, I forgot about that.

Does it say you have no current Honor but some pending or you just earned none? Because if you fought in a battleground and got none you should contact a GM in game to ask them if there's a problem with your account.

All my shit was swiped clean, the guild bank was also cleaned out and to top it off, my only 70 alliance paladin (that was retired) was somehow transferred to another realm. And this all happened on Christmas, what a shock.

After getting my account back with a new password, I finally just cancelled for good. Fuck that shit, especially since I got an email saying that I got my gold back.. Yeah only 50% of what I had. No gear.

Oh well, time to find another game to suck miserably at.

People are idiots. Probably a lot of people who just buy the gold from the Chinese gold sellers. Ya gotta be real careful when you do that though, it's against their TOS and they will lock your entire fucking account if they want to. They may give you a warning but I'm not sure. I know they will lock your entire account for good if they find out you had someone level your toon for you, happend to a buddy.

The sad part is the people who need Tangy Clam Meat are probably lower level, so farming for it would get them XP, bring up weapon skills, give them the meat they need and some crap to vendor trash for a little extra money.
