A couple of years back, The Bodacious Band put out the album Hot Days, Cool Nights.
Why am I posting this? The lead singer is none other than our own Jughead!
Buzzard was kind enough to host the album on his site (buzzard8.com (http://www.buzzard8.com))
Please click on the album cover and give it a listen. http://www.buzzard8.com/jpgfiles/jugcd.jpg (http://www.buzzard8.com/jughead.htm)
I think it is some pretty good stuff. Rock on, Juggy!!:drunk:

I sang 7-11 tracks..( I didnt sing daddy's boy or Devils pass)..The cool thing was my 71 year old dad got to come in the studio and played a pretty simple bass line on hot day's..The girl singing with me on The title track we found and beef and boards dinner theater in Indy..She had the lead in the Aretha Franklin story.... Her name is Deron Washington..She was a treat to do the song with....For the guitar fans on the board check out one of my friends Troy Sealey playing the slide and lead on Arizona Blue..He had never heard the song before he did it in about 2-3 takes..He was only 21 when he joined us in the studio... and Everyone Its ok to point and laugh Im old and most of the mucic and lyrics were written in the mid eighty's.. If ya like it well... that is very special to me....TUB&BUZZ You made my day..again...Jug

Long Live the Jug!
Thank you buddy I hope you did not use (Steves) Daddy's boy for the gym it is really not a muscle builder:smile:....The reason that song was even on there ..Our drummers wife divorced him and took his son to the west coast during the session..Steve wrote it in the studio for him.......There was a connection to that CD and A guy named John Prine...I kinda know who he is/????but when our drummer Riley got so sad about it he left the session... Ed the session drummer filled in..He was touring with him John Prine ( I think its Prine??)at the time....and co produced it....Jugg

Crazy memories of my yesterday.
Those High School loves, they fade away.
And in the background of my mind,
I think with some, I wasted my time.

The opening track is my favorite so far.
Juggy, 2 questions.
1) Does the band have a myspace page?
2) Will you let Buzzard tour with you guys as a roadie or a groupie? I know he's retired.

I had not sang in 9 years when I went in to do it....I was a manager for the Bob Rohrman auto group.....Steve the writer went in and I got a lot my friends to go in and fill for non original Members...It was very scary kinda he had a lot of studio cost already done when i got there.....I had done most of the songs i sang,, a lot of years but I was not real sure what would come out since i had retired from the band 9 years earlier....We did this cd so we would have something to remember..I wish ya all could hear the original version of Hot days It won the wfbq Indiana homegrown contest..( Yes It was an album ya know vinyl..lol.....)we one first place out of 2600 entries it was a great Kick for the band mainly for bookings...It was before Bob and Tom had started there show back when Q95 in indy was just getting started... Buzz and Tub did me a great favor Letting me show my buddies what I use to do....It was great Times and i am a shitty typer....Juggy

I would trust him with my only copy..We did it at shade tree studios in lake Geneva Wisconsin..It was the band... .....it has 5 songs we sent out for demo.to a&r men we came so close.......I will get in touch with him about it ....I would love to have it on cd.....I need to take a cassette tape and put to a cd.....Greg Ryker was our producer then... He was so awesome.. .He was only 26 and went on to do things people would think i was lying if i told ya...Google his name Greg Ryker..Last time I talked to him he was president of mackie boards...Just a short story he was so electronic gifted he went to work for Microsoft in 1986 or 87....... When we arrived at shade tree studios there were 2 guys there finishing up there album it was Flo and Eddie....I did not really know who i was talking to at the time!!! They were finishing a song called afterglow..It was awesome...On the Homegrown album I told ya we won first place.... There was a drummer there that was on the contest album with a band called stream winner...Everyone was amazed at him not really the band ..it was Kenny Aronoff..... John Cougar grabed him up at the time...Jug
