Obviously steroids and HGH are banned in MLB, but I am not sold that they are ruining baseball. I personally think that baseballs biggest problem is that there are too many teams. Expansion has watered down the sport so much, that most teams can not get more than two solid pitchers. It has also deminished the talent pool throughout the league.

So, If you could choose between one of the two to impact baseball, which would it be?

applaud what is going on now with cleaning up the sport and keep all of the teams

or

allow players to use steroids but make the league more competative by contracting

Clemens would have been forced out of the game 10 years earlier without juice.
I still miss the 6 team NHL.

I'm confused and not feeling well.
Excellent question, Boss.

Drop the juice. Watching the Nationals lose gives me great comfort at night.

Drop the juice, because, apparently, when Major League ballplayers stop using steroids my kid will grow up perfect with minimal effort on my part.

Drop the Devil Rays & Marlins. Even the ownership of the Marlins doesn't care. Win a World Series, have a fire sale.... TWICE!!

I don't have kids & don't know anyone in MLB... so in the words or METALLICA.....

i dont care about steroids, but i think the NHL needs to contract before MLB. so im kinda torn on this issue.

i didn't have a problem with expansion and i wouldn't have a problem with future expansion, provided the team went to a good market.
the teams now have room to pull in talent from other countries that you just didn't get when we were dealing with smaller leagues.

so get rid of the steroids. they skew sports records.

I think steroids should be mandatory.....in all pro sports

The only problem with your other country theory is this. ! out of every 7 Japs are legit all of the Cubans are 45 years old and other Latin countries have been picked from before expansion. Not enough talent
