OK, so if you were stranded on a deserted island and could only have 3 ingredients from home with you what would they be?

Mine = Butter, onions, and flour. You could go a long way with those by incorporating with seafood you caught etc... Or maybe settle for onion toast with butter.

What do you think?

Hopefully there will be some dirt on the island, because I'm bringing potatoes. You can keep growing more. Butter is out, because it wouldn't last. Salt is out if I feel confident enough to build a fire. That way, I can get salt from the ocean. I'd bring some honey, because it never spoils. I guess flour would work for the third one.

Sugar-you can add this to coconut juice to make coconut alcohol and of course to sweeten things.

Flour & yeast-bread is essential...

Good choice.

But I think I'd drop the salami and add spicy mustard to my ham and cheese.
