So my wife and I are watching TUF finale, billed as live right now. I get a text from my friend in CO saying that the event just ended. So I got to Sherdog to check and get to see the results to all the fights by accident, since apparently this is not a live event, but a pre-recorded one.

I wouldn't be so mad if they weren't playing that godawful leather santa Harley commercial at every break. Furious.

No, this was billed as a live event as we watched the last few episodes of the regualar show during the marathon. There was a Spike Live logo on the screen the whole time. It wasn't the replay, either. The event went "live", or "lieve" as I like to call it, at 9 PM PST. That would mean that you folks would have had to watch the thing at midnight if it was true. I don't know why they didn't just show the thing live earlier in the day. They were just replayin the show. Start the marathon earlier you fucks.

No, they didn't, although this is obviously what it was. I just wonder why they didn't show the thing from 6-9 PST, when it actually happened. All the ppv UFC events start at 6:30, so it's not like 6 PM is too early in the day on a Saturday.

It was live here in the East from 9-12. I guess they didn't want to start it at 6 in the West. I guess they should have made that clear.

Remember what Ronnie B says, East Coast time is the only real time.

Being as Spike is an entertainment channel and not a sports channel, the west coast feed is just going to be the east coast feed on a 3 hour delay. If they screwed with when the show aired on the west coast, the rest of their schedule would be fucked. Kind of like USA Network and Monday Night Raw. I agree they could have added a graphic under "Live" stating "Except on the West Coast".
