don't you hear about people smoking hash anymore? I hear a lot about weed (rumors only, of course) but the other day, I was having a conversation with someone younger than me who had only ever heard of hash but had never tried it....this person is a major weed head. Does hash still exist on the east coast?

In college I knew people who did (or at least tried) almost everything but surprisingly not hash. Maybe I just didn't know the right people, but I doubt it.

i honestly don't sit around wondering about hash though, nor have i bothered asking around. But i can say i've never heard anyone north of the border mention it in all my life.

It faded away before the mid 90's here. I've rarely seen it since. All I have left are my Mom's tableknives to remind me of the good times we had.

The correlation of weed smoking and laziness makes me think it has a lil something to do with the lack of production of it. Bots.

I had friends that smoked it alot like 10 years ago. They also would get hash oil and smoke that. I don't know if its still available or they grew out of their hippiness.

It's been about 10-15 years since I've talked to Europeans about this, but I always been told, that hash was MUCH easier to get in Europe.

I wonder if it has anything to do with where most of it is made. Middle east? Morocco?Maybe it's tougher to get the stuff into the country now.

Last time I smoked hash was about 2 years ago, but its still out there.

I never thought of hash as an "instead of" weed...I always liked the taste better than weed...though I DO love the sticky icky. Hash is made from the most potent parts of weed.

I think that it's probably the fact that it's really more of a middle east thing and it's harder to get into the country. Too bad we don't have a Fred from Lebanon!!!!!!
