Not sure how many people follow poker, but I just read that Chip Reese died yesterday. He's the man many professionals considered the best player on the planet, even though he wasn't on TV that much until the last couple of years because he is not a TV whore like many of the other players. He was busy spending his time at casinos, playing the big cash games and taking everyone's money...

Wow, that's shocking. RIP Chip.

Sad thing is nobody knew him, in a fan sense I mean and he was considered the best cash game player in the world. He became a name after he won the HORSE event, I thought I'd seem him alot more playing in tourneys.
