Racist Diversity Training Video?

The city of Denver is shelving a diversity-training video that portrays a white man as the sole racist, sexist and homophobe among a cast of blacks, Hispanics and women. (http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2007/nov/28/city-pulls-diversity-training-video/)

The video was pulled after a white man who works for the city complained that it was racist and violated his civil rights.



I saw this piece on the news this weekend and couldn't help but laugh. First of all, it's insulting to all humans in general that this video was ever made. You really have to believe that your workers are total idiots to think they have to watch this video to learn something.

But there was something much more disturbing to me in the video, which you can watch some of it here:

My brother had racial training at his job and the white guy actually used words like nigger and what the nigger did.................he told me the whole room was in shock and at the end a black guy who was ex-military got up to talk to the guy. The guy was fired before the next session 2 hours later
