are you somebody's safety number as far as the "im in jail" call
it seems like no one remembers any phone numbers now that peoples have got cell phones but my house is the first one called when shit goes down and someone needs to have someone come down and pick em up from jail.
im only saving this becuase as the clock strikes midnight i get call from the local jail
my mom hung up whoever it was so im now speculating on whoz in jail but its a pretty decent list of people that it could have been

Was it jail or prison? It makes a big difference. Chances are, it was a wrong number.

HA
this is fucking hysterical.
last june, i was out on LI for Topless practice, when i get this phone call from a weird ass number. so i put it on speaker and held it up to the mic so everyone can hear. this is the call:
me: hello ?
caller: may i speak with michael please
me: this is
caller: michael, this is state trooper gary xxxxx. we have arrested your brother for driving under the influence. we currently have him at the annandale station, and we need you to come pick him up.
me: sorry officer, im out on LI, and if i leave now, it will be about 1.5-2 hours before i get there.
caller: ok, is there somebody else then that can come pick him up?
me: yes. mom and dad. here is their number....
since this was his 2nd dui, he thought it might be best if i came and got him, and then he explained to mom/dad what happened. well, he got to tell them earlier than he wanted. like 1am on a wed nite as they were driving him home.
p.s.... he still lives and breathes, to this day.

way to help out your bother!!! :help::thumbdown::wallbash:
If my brother called me in trouble I would do whatever I had to do to help him. Even if he was always in trouble or far away.

Seriously. The first time my brother called me at 4am. No problem. By about the 5th time it had worn thin. I stopped answering the calls.
