I remember a special that I liked but haven't seen it since I was kid. I think it was called The Mouse Who Saved Christmas or something similar. It was about a mouse that lived in a clock and somehow... saved Christmas!

I'll always watch Rudolph and Frosty (not their lame sequels), but I wish they would show that one again.

Burl Ives is just classic.

As far as all christmas shows/movies... Christmas Story is a true classic.

If you are speaking more of the christmas specials (animated) then The Year Without a Santa Clause is the best.

I loved that fantastically produced George Lucas X-Mas special. It went off so flawless and nobody looked awkward. And that wonderous moment when the Wookies roared back and forth for 5 mins without translation. Talk about a masterpiece.

YEAH.... I love Ziggy's Gift! I somehow missed it when I was a kid though.... never saw it until I met my husband. His family watches that one every year cause they have it on an old beat-up VHS tape...... It really is adorable, that Christmas special.... like you could cry it was so sweet........and maybe I did..... and blamed it on Christmas sentimentality.... and boooze.......

Emmet isnt just the best christmas special, its the best muppet movie too. the soundtrack is amazing!!! I watch it at least a dozen times a year. In college i used to get high with my firend and watch it every evenign after class
