It is actually a great show...it reminds me a lot of O&A and R&F...just basically Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier hangin out and talking about whatever.

I really enjoy listening to Kevin Smith because he is so brilliant but can immediatly switch to Dick jokes in a second. You guys should check it out.

Yeah, I've been checking it out on My iTunes for months now. It's a pretty funny podcast, especially if You dig the live speaking engadgements that Kevin Smith puts on.....Straight Funny Stuff.

I marathoned all the shows last May when O&A were off the air (hey, I had alot of time for radio) and subscribed after that. I iPod it in my car or walking around the mall or stuff like that.

I was listening this morning to Kevin's SMODCAST-the one where he talks about creamed corn. Yeech! I hate corn too.

And the talk about being eaten by a shark-dude-Kevin is dead on by that has to be pretty creepy. His story about the girl being bitten and seeing the dark shadow below her before the first bite really freaked me out and touched on an old "Jaws" movie fear I've had since I was a kid.

OK, I am back to say I keep giggling at Kevin's ideas of what chickens would say if they could talk: Not, hey, they're eating us, or, let's escape, but just over and over: Hey, lookit my dick!

It gives me mixed feelings because I also like The Best Show on WFMU, and Tom Scharpling hates Kevin Smith. I guess I'm a talk radio Benedict Arnold.

I listened today by acident on the way in to work.

The chicken convo had me giggling... but I preferred the version where, altho all chickens speak English, ONE chicken comes forward and says he's the only one, speaks to congress, etc... and slowly the chicken revolution begins and man becomes subservient to chickens.

I could definitely imagine these two passing the splif back and forth, like they were with the Brooklyn Boys in Stugots home or somethin. OHH!!

Over the past three weeks or so, I've managed to listen to pretty much all of the Smodcasts. Great stuff. Kevin and Scott are just really funny guys. The "Ned Smitty" episode is probably my favorite. Fop rules.

There should be a smodcast drinking game: you have to down a shot everytime you hear Kevin's lighter. You'd be hammered by the end of every episode.

Holy cow did I empathize. Great show.

I have to say, Smodcast is an outstanding addition to 202 - it is an excellent show that I try to listen to every week. I actually wish it was a lot longer; 2 or more hours would rule. But I'm happy with what we get. :wink:

Kevin said that on the Chasing Amy commentary. His explanation wasn't that he was anti-dvd, it was more that he didn't want to rebuy his movie collection on a new format. By the time Amy came out on DVD, he had changed his tune about DVD, but left the commentary in.


And there was a new Smodcast last week for the first time in months.
