RIP Thruway Diner

For anyone who lives in lower Westchester County you probably have been to the Thruway Diner in New Rochelle. I frequented the place many times after going to the bars when I went to Iona College. They are also planning to downsize the Nathans on Central ave in Yonkers. They better not do anything with Walters in larchmont or else that will be grounds for a revolution. Nathans is just sad. I remember when the nathans on whiteplains rd in the bronx closed when I was a kid. I was heart broken.

Now throw in carvels and im inconsolable.

If Nicks and Walters close....Id stop eating. ID just get fed through a tube!

I dont remember the Nathans in the Bronx, I do remember there was one on Boston Post Rd (US 1) on the Border of New Rochelle and Larchmont that closed back in the late 80's
