When Grandfather dies, things will be strange
When grandfather dies, my world will change
When Grandfather dies, I will scream and I'll yell
CAUSE I'll BE FUCKING RICH AS HELL!!!!
So Grandfather die! Don't keep us in suspense
Oh Grandfather Cough! Up that inheritance
Oh Granfather don't! hold on another day... I love you to death... but I have bills to pay!
For god sakes you must be as old as the hills
I am sick of that stench from you diaper spills...
Your deaf, dumb, blind, and an amputee
You donate your blood everytime that you pee!!
Your Arthritis acts up whenever it rains
Your so old your penis has vericose veins!!!!
oh why can't you die grandpa why do you fight?!?!?
You old motherfucker just walk toward the GOD DAMN LIGHT!!!!
--- Stephen Lynch

My grandparents past away while I was really young but I still love them and hope to see them up in heaven, if I get there.
Grandparents, GOD love them and you gotta love them.

Both of my Grandparents on my mother's side are both alive and well, and I thank God for that every day. Although they're slowing down a bit these days, they're both remarkably sharp mentally. My grandfather is a WWII veteran, and lived through the depression. The stories he shares can literally make your hairs stand up on end when you realize what people of his generation went through. The sacrifices and trials that those before us went through to make this such a great country to live in should never be forgotten, and those precious few that still walk among us deserve to be honored and revered.
And to this day, no one has ever made a meatball, a chocolate chip cookie, or a brownie that can even compare to my grandma's!

My paternal grandfather died a couple of years ago, but didnt really affect me since I have absolutely no contact with my father or his side of the family.
I guess you can say I'm somewhat close with my mom's mother and stepfather. I used to be very close with my mom's father and stepmother. those grandparents were the best. unfortunately, there's this huge feud between my mom and them, and now we never talk, which really really sucks, i miss them so much.

My mom's mother and my dad's father died way before I was born.
My father's mother died when I was 5, so I only have vague memories of her. I know she gave me a few cool gifts, but she could not cook.
My mother's father died when I was 10, so I remember him. He was pretty cool. Unfortunatley, he was sick for all the time I knew him.
So I have no grandparents left, and I haven't for most of my life. So, I feel good for all you people that are lucky nough to have grandparents.
