i couldnt find a thread for this but im into the show in a big way
i really like the main actor from his work on band of brothers
i think that they could take the spirituality ideas further and go even more out there
but i really like the perspective and the change of pace from the cop formats that are out there (csi)
is anyone else into this show?

I knew it had been talked about somewhere...and I finally found it... in the middle of The Bionic Woman thread. It deserves its own.
Anywho, I agree. This show is very very good. Quirky, funny, interesting.
It has its flaws, but Detective Reese is NOT one of them (she's HOT! Boom!)

This is one of those shows that I started watching by accident and I know like. I watch Dirty Sexy Money at 10 but taped the first episode of Life on my other tv and liked it a lot so now I tape it every week.
Detective Reese is very hot. Little bit of trivia about her. She was Chris's hot mistress in Las Vegas that Tony Soprano went to see and tell her that Chris had died. He then banged her and did drugs with her. She was so hot in that episode.

they're really smart for giving this show a shot behind heros' big episode and i think it will really help a show that needs it and diserves it compared to journeyman... which other than being set in sf is just an okay show(and since hes married it goes against the stereotype that every male in sf is gay which is nice)

I love both shows. I dont want to have to choose between them.
Get rid of Deal or No deal before you get rid of smart shows like these two.

Sounds like a good show.
Can't download on iTunes like Journeyman, so I can catch up. Anyone else have trouble streaming shows on the NBC website? The audio is regular speed, but the video lags behind. Anyone know a solution to the problem?

I use Mozilla Firefox and have no problem watching The Office and 30Rock at nbc.com.
But THIS show is good enough to tivo and watch on the big screen!

It will be Tivo'd, but I gotta catch up. I'll try Firefox.
This is the only new show of the season that I've gotten into. It's got a really good cast and the story of Charlie Crews is one that they actually could drag out for awhile.
And something tells me that his boss is a bad egg.

Just in case youre not being facetious, she definitely is... I cant recall if she's on his wall, but she was definitely hooked up with Reese's dad and Cruz's partner in the old days. The writers have made no secret of the fact she is not to be trusted.

I haven't seen that character on the wall during the show, but it is on the wall on the web.
And you are right, my obvious spoiler isn't a spoiler at all, but that's what I like about the show. Week-to-week you have those feelings for somebody new. It's like you get to peel the onion with Charlie.

2 things I noticed in the season finale:
When Reese is looking for the snake in the "grass", the camera pans up, and there's Cruz's old partner... a snake in the grass. Or maybe as they showed HER looking for a snake in the grass, they were foreshadowing that she might be a snake in the grass?
Also, Papa Reese gave" $4mill to a "charity" called Blessed Sisters; initials B.S.
a B.S. charity if I ever heard of one? Laundering for sure.
All in all, a great ending. When the season 1st started I wondered how they were gonna drag out this who-dunnit for several seasons....answer?: They dont. Pretty cool considering Ive been watching Lost for 3 years and still havent had any major mysteries solved.
I like this show, and I will definitely be looking for it in 2008... I hope it's there to be found.

I didn't watch it until last week and this week. I loved it, but it made me wish I hadn't seen those last two before watching the rest of it. I hope it's online. BTW... It's not really the end of the season. It's coming back in January (barring writer's strike delays).

You should have let that post sit around for about an hour. Then it would be well seasoned.

So, I never got into this the first season, but decided to give it a looksie this season. I'm liking what I see so far. Oh yeah, and Sarah Shahi is so friggin' hot!
Anyway, what I am lost on are all the references to last season. I have no clue who that girl was that they found in the wall at the end of the 1st episode. I don't know who this guy is that has now confessed to the crime that Crews was convicted for originally. Aside from figuring out that Reese's dad is dirty, I don't know what part he plays in all of this. I'm assuming Crews is so rich because of suing for wrongful arrest. What happened to their old boss who is now replaced by the funny and creepy Donal Logue?

Instead of giving you a watcher's digest and cheating you of the goodness of season 1,
may I give you THIS LINK (http://www.nbc.com/Life/video/categories/season-1/29445/) ... The entire season one for FREEEE online. It's worth it to catch up.

The girl is the daughter of the couple who were killed (and whose murder Crews was framed for) and witnessesd the murder.
Reese's dad was apparently involved in the framing of Crews. He also apparently was involved with a bank heist where all bank robbers were apparently killed but yet millions went missing.
As for the boss, in the season premiere, they suggested she was demoted or otherwise punished for either what Crews was up to, or for having some connection to the framing.

I just gotta say that this show really needs more Christina Hendricks in it. My God, what a rack! Yeah, I know she could be seen in Mad Men, but I think there would be a better chance of showing more on this show.
I think I have to put her in the #1 spot of Best Tits in Hollywood and knocking Salma Hayek down to #2.
Oh, and a question for Chris. Is there really such a thing as Badge Bunnies?

Useless without:

although I disagree with you that she even comes close to Salma or Scarlett
and yes, there are such a thing, although they dont normally run in packs,
AND more importantly, they are like female cops, nurses and hookers in that they are not
nearly as hot in real life as they are on tv.
