Don't plasmas wear out somewhat rapidly?

You have to take into account that you must disclose the fact that you are selling refurbished goods.
Do you offer a warranty? I think not.
Chances are you will be stuck with your purchase.
I have picked up a few refurbished items, but ONLY factory direct. They guarantee the stuff, and double the warranty.

Yeah, my plasma started to crap out after a year. It was gonna cost like 600 to fix. Use the 400 and get an LCD

Yes plasma sucks. I bought a refurb Laptop, and it sucked, had all types of problems. Unfortunately someone stole it before I could return it with my warrenty.

i bought an LCD TV from a friend and i Love it. 1000 in the store right now, I got it with a 12ft PC-HDMI cable for 400 bucks. no complaints, but it is also not a refurb, he had it less than a year

I've bought a few refurb computers and never had a problem. Worked great, actually. TV's, other stuff I don't know about. Guess it depends on the item. I'm gonna look into getting a refurb plasma TV. I hardly ever use my TV so I don't care if it doesn't last as long, and would like to open up the space its currently in.

no I usually buy new from Aaron's then pay it off within 90 days so as to eliminate the lemon factor.

I just wait for a large event like a riot or power outage and steal what I need.
