Florida :The Worst Ron and Fez State

Through my informal research I've found that most Ron and Fez show bashers are from the Florida area. Is there another state that gets the show less then Florida? I would list all of the Florida members but they will surely come into this thread and defend themselves.

I think most Floridians that have known about RnF for years really get the show more than any other state because we have seen it grow and change so much over the years.

There are a few of us that get the show. As for the rest, I think there are two reasons.

1. People in Florida, especially the southern portion, are very hostile in general. When they post negatively, it's not just about the show - it's probably the way they are about everything in their lives.

2. If there are R&R fans that listen to R&F expecting the same exact thing as the old show, they are going to be disappointed. I was a huge R&R fan in the mid-90's, and I was really bummed when the show went off the air. A few years ago, I was remembering some of the old good times and ran an internet search. I was so happy to find the file library (Thanks MikeyBoy!). I downloaded a bunch of the clips, but I was really surprised to hear how different they sounded. I took to the new format right away, but I can guess that some of old R&R hardcores that want THAT show aren't going to like R&F. Oh well, their loss.

That too. There was nothing more interactive, funny, quick and overall fun to hear and contribute to than a classic Ron and Fez Comedy Pyramid. Thanks to some WJFK and now Hayseed callers, they were forced to stop them.

I don't think it's fair to blame the DC and DC area listeners. We were all calling in to the show since we started getting it in 2000 and contributed tons...it wasn't until the show actually moved there and they started getting more listeners outside of the metro area that things went downhill. It's general hayseedery at work yet again, not the NoVA folks.
