Man, I miss a good snow. As you can imagine, I don't get too much in Texas. Although for Xmas 2 years ago, we had a freak snowstorm in deep south Texas.

I can't wait for a heavy snow in Manhattan. It's almost surreal, because there are so few cars on the road, and what noise is out there is largely muffled by the falling snow. It's incredibly quiet, and it's very cool.

This will be my second year not in Cleveland for most of the winter. The amount of snow there is insane.

I HATE snow. I like the cold and think snowfall and snow cover are beautiful, but spending years on a corner lot where you have to shovel 2 walkways, plus the walk and stairs up to the front door, plus the 2 car driveway, and 1-2 parking places on the street completely burned me out on snow. All that shoveling thoroughly fried any love of snow that I had.

Anyone who loves snow, consider this an open invitation to come on up! We got over 30 cm. of snow on Oct. 30 and it has pretty much been snowing a bit every day since then. Last night we got another 10 cm....now if it would just freeze so the snowmobiling can begin!

I agree with Mikeyboy, when it snows in New York city, it makes everything so quiet. I just hate it because I have to shovel it out at different locations. I work for the city and most of the guys under me are a bunch of lazy asses. I just want to be a lazy ass, but since they are, I have not choice. Also after 3 days dirty snow makes me sick.

Only time I don't curse the snow is when it is close to Christmas. White Christmas is always cool. :happy:

I love those days. New Years day is another one, assuming your not hung over. You start noticing things that were right in front of you but were always too busy to notice.
