I believe i may have asked this before but I couldn't find it(this issue is different then the one i posted a few months back)

I have had an issue with importing music from my hd because Im a dummie and i have redundant songs on there

is there a quicker way to delete all the redundant songs from the library then going through manually and deleting each one?

anyone know how to solve?

I know that there is a function that finds all the duplicate songs, but for each duplicate it finds both songs. You can delete from there.

In addition, it considers the same song by the same artist on diferent albums duplicates at times.

ipod player (http://www.ipodsoft.com/site/pmwiki.php?n=podplayer.Homepage)

there are 3 ways to fix this.
a) dump your pod and reload the songs carefully (also a good time to weed out junk)
b) show all songs via itunes and use the "show duplicates feature"
c) or use the link above. save the exe file on your actual ipod. then go through my comp to run it. the app will open, and under options, click "find duplicates".
