Balloting begins for the Ford C. Frick Award today till the end of Nov. Top 3 fan votes will be placed on the 10 member ballot and winner will be announced Feb 19.

I was at the 1995 induction when Richie Ashburn was inducted as a player into the HOF and in 2002 when Harry Kalas received the Frick Award. This award is the highest achievement in broadcasting.

I'd like to see Kiner go in but he's already in as a player so someone else should get it.

What I'd like to see is Chris Berman and John Sterling get invitations as if they've won this award. Then, like Joe Pesci in "Good Fellas" as he goes to get "made", someone puts a bullet in the back of both of their heads.
