For those of you who didnt know, Taco Bell had a promotion, "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" in that if a base was stolen during the World Series, theyd give out free tacos to everyone in America. Well, who but Jacoby Ellsbury came thru for us all (even yank fans).

I too stopped off at 94 st and 2nd avenue and grabbed my free taco. I had all intentions of just getting the free taco... but i also ended up buying a steak quesadilla and a cherry coke.

Joe hasn't posted anything about how his taco quest went. I told you those things were bad news.

I was starvin' when I left the house and I was all about roundin' up some tacos but my taco quest was killed by two things:

1. the free tacos in the first of my stops were disappointing as well as disgusting. (about as much meat on them as would be in a ravioli & came with some shitty lettuce and a bit of cheese) tasted weird too. & the second place wouldn't let me get my free taco via drive-through! (you get what you pay for!)

2. The 3rd stop was litterally within sight of a white castle. Done. 4 cheese & 3 plain, side of O'rings. I didn't even get the 3rd taco.

Sorry if I let anyone down but the murder burgers made my day!!

It's been a very long time since I've totally engorged on junk food. I'm too old and too fat for this kind of stuff anymore.

(I think that I would have been more motivated with a co-pilot...after those first 2 shitty tacos I was talking myself out of racing across the county for this crap. I swear, if it had been free castle day I would still be out there shaking the man down for some burgers!
