I noticed that Too Cute is using the Wonder Woman from the new Justice League. I haven't heard Fez mention it, but it's pretty good. Hawkgirl is much better than the one from the Super Friends.

Too Cute,

I just dig the new sig pic--especially since I actually have the very same pic autographed by noneother than Lynda Carter herself.

I love the show, but why use john stewart as the green lantern when we all know hal jordan was better.

Overall, it's a kick ass show, i just wish it didn't interfere with my wwf raw.

i saw the first 1.5 hour premiere and didn't dig it. animation didn't impress me, writing wasn't that good and I wanted to bash Flash in the head with a pole I shove up his ass.

Martian Manhunter always was a weird and lame member of JLA.
Why is Green Lantern black? What happened to Hal Jordan or Guy Gardner?

The new show is pretty decent. My all-time fave, though, remains the classic "Batman: The Animated Series" (*before* the WB got its hands on it and screwed up both the animation and the storylines).

As to why Green Lantern is black, it's because this is Jon Stewart, who was the ORIGINAL Green Lantern, before either Hal or Kyle or Guy Gardner. They wanted to go with a more retro cast lineup, which is why we have characters like Hawkgirl in the team.

John Stewart was a GL after Hal (well, at the same time), but way before Guy Gardner.

Hmm....I thought Stewart predated Hal. Guess I'm wrong.

But to answer the question before, they wanted to go with a Golden Age type lineup to this show.

Stewart was introduced during the legendary Neil Adams Green Lantern/Green Arrow run in the 70's.
