I always lock my phone but whenever I put it in my pocket it likes to call 911. Does it know something that I don't? Is someone after me? Am I about to commit some crime that it is trying to prevent? Without fail I pull it out of my pocket and it will read "Dial S.O.S?" Today I got a call from the Police."What's the problem?" Nothing I hope, unless my phone isn't telling me something...

it is prolly saved as number 1 or 9 in your auto speed dial, just remove it so it does not happen anymore. i think it cost 2 bucks each time you call

If I lock my phone and a number is hit, there is an option that pops up allowing me to make an emergency call. If a side button is hit, it will dial 911.
There is a way to disable that in the phone options.

Soon enough the 911 operators will get used to the number and they'll look at each other in the dispatch room and say

"Well look at this; Time for the Daily Lleeder"

It's not a bad thing.

It doesn't cost anything to call 911 from a cell phone.
Who the hell told you that?

I'm pretty sure there is a monthly charge on your phone bill to cover 911 calls. It's a pretty insignificant amount.

Even if your phone is restricted from calling out cause you don't pay your bills, it will still go through.

That is correct. There is a fee of 90 cents on my bill every month to cover 911.
That's a little different than saying that it's $2.00 every time you make a 911 call.

Even if you have an old cell phone that hasn't been
used in years, it will ALWAYS be able to call 911.
