When old toys are Remade

I hate when they remake old toys for todays kids. They always take something that was good in the past and fuck it up in the present.

Perfect example: Transformers. They were great back then, now they're a joke. Since when was Optimus Prime a fire truck! that sucks ass.

And now they remade Masters of the Universe. He-man was the ultimate for me, and now hes remade into a new version along with jungle he-man and martial arts he-man. People really know how to fuck up a good thing.

G.I. Joe's are one thing, but when people fuck with figures I grew up with, it's another.

I don't care how good or what they did to improve it. Come up with something good, stop taking my childhood and fucking it up just to make a dollar.

Since when is it fair to pay people money to bastardize good toys from the 80's?

Not to mention this proves one of my theories that the 80's was quite possibly the best decade to grow up in as far as tv and toys are concerned. Nothing new can possibly come out that will even be half as good as the toys of the 80's, no as original.

How about the remake of Voltron? It was bad enough dealing with the Second Voltron made up of 15 cars; existing at the same time as the one true 5 lions Voltron. They remade Voltron last year, and the toys they came out with are GAY!

GI Joes should be about 12 inches tall not the little scrawny 6 inch jobs that came out in the 80's.

I think the older toys were better made also they did not break as easily as newer toys.

Even though the metal pieces could slice your fingers off...lol. The toys held up.

Remember the old Tonka dump trucks those things could take anything.

A toy that they screwed up were big wheels when they first came out they were tough and did not fall apart.

Even the board games were better no cheap pieces. Risk with wooden blocks.

Well I have ranted enough...lol
